They are, all, honorable men...

In 1942, the armies of Nazi Germany marched through Hungary on their way to Yugoslavia which they had decided to invade. At the time, Hungary had a non-aggression treaty with Yugoslavia but of course was unable to stop the German forces. Next day, the Hungarian prime minister shot himself. Far from having anything to do with the invasion, he had not even received advance notice of it. But he was the head of a government responsible for a treaty which could not be honored.

It appears that one of the major political parties of the greatest nation on Earth (the one which calls itself "Democrat") fought its last election campaign using funds prohibited by law. If that is not the case, why are they sending back millions of dollars? If that is the case, who is going to accept responsibility? A promise by a lawbreaker not to do it again is insufficient, or our jails would be empty.

Is there not one Democrat left in this nation whose sense of shame or honor would outweigh all other considerations of self and politics? Is there no one to remind us of the great men who used to represent the party and the honor of America? Goodness knows, no one asks for a suicide. A few resignations and retirement to the fabulous riches most of them have assembled would do for now. How about it Mr. President?
